Yeah, I don't know how to motivate myself to do H_E things either. I've been blaming it partly on the fact that I already left it before and so it's hard to get into it again, but it's also partly just the whole mood around the place. It doesn't seem like anyone's doing much of anything anymore. :\

I think it's a lot of apathy from the members too... like we've already accepted that it's going to be gone and can't motivate ourselves to participate anymore. Except for Slytherin that is- they seem to be pretty active in contests/voting.

I'm so out of touch with HE. I really only ever read loyal badger posts anymore, the rest has become sort of meh for me :/

Don't feel sorry if your post isn't as excited as they usually are. Half of the people I know on lj seem to be having a rough couple days or weeks. We don't only want to read the good things <3

Hearing that makes me feel better. I just don't like feeling down, so I feel like I need to cheer up quickly... and it frustrates me when that doesn't happen. It's no fun being upset and stressed out. It's nice to have a reminder that people care, even about the not-so-happy parts of my life.

Yeah... I find myself skimming official posts in the main community more often than not. It's sad, because I still had so much that I wanted to do in h_e (win an essay contest, ect) that I just don't feel the energy for now that we're on the last term. I wish we'd really go out with a bang, but it seems that most people are feeling out of touch with it now.
