It's been another year, and it's Xmas in 3 days. I'm still here.

Just got back from grandparents' house and brought back some smoked chees. I'm now pairing it with some good cabernet sauvignon and writing.

I just woke up and am reading the journal pages again. I'm on my way to the teaching in the US seminar, hoping that it won't be hard. I will write later to add to what I've already written. My new goal will be to write at least 750 words/day.

Hello... I think this is the first time I have posted here but I've been lurking for about a year now.

I'm at school right now and am stuck.
After finishing all the stuff that I had to do for the class I'm still stuck here waiting for the bell to ring.
I have one and a half hours left.

The last gift I received this christmas season was the most remarkable of all. It was a simple gift, and it's simlicity is what makes it special. It was carved out of an olive tree half a century old. Tied together by a simple brown string into a near perfect circle.
