I feel a little better knowing I am not the ONLY new knitter having issues!

I had a headache this afternoon. We have 2 people at work, both of whom I like, but neither of them knows what an "inside" voice is. So this morning I am reading an article about how people/families saved thousands of $'s each year by making changes to their spending habits. Every one of them said they stopped eating out every day, and are down to 2-3 times a week. I have never been in a position to eat out everyday, or even 2-3 times a week for that matter. Apparently I suck!

We apparently have a new black kitty. Black kitty has been hanging out in front of the house under where the upstairs hangs over the downstairs windows for the last 2 days. I have ALONE time! Today I love my alone time, some days I don't want it.

I started laundry. I really should change the sheets on the bed.

I feel crappy today. I woke up with a HUGE headache. The headache is still kind of lingering. So I opted for staying home all day, rather then going on for a little bit.

I got Muppet's season 3 from stardarkisis and strblysneetch! I also got the Kim Harrison short stories! Granted John will most likely read them 1st, but that's OK.

I practiced my knitting more today, it is still horrible. And I worked on Lettie's afghan. I have no idea what I am going to do with the Irish tweed I bought yesterday.

Also in Friday Harbor we went to this odd little gift store called the Mystical Mermaid. I bought a manatee wall mounted key holder with 4 hooks. Now I just need to find a place to put it.

We made it to Friday Harbor yesterday. It was cold and a little wet, but not too bad. We spent WAY to much money! I spent a ton of money at the yarn store there. I only bought yarn that mother doesn't carry. I got a hank of Irish tweed, 2 balls of Scottish wool, 2 hanks of chunky baby alpaca, and a hank of hand dyed sock yarn from a small company ( Read more... )
