I ended up going out last night. Went with people from 3rd floor, although we ended up meeting up with people from my floor. We all went to this place called Alehouse. It is very hightech. A scanner for your I.D, that says how old you are(haha, I noticed our Don Jessica, who came with us, is younger than me!). Then they use a medal detector on you, and then where you pay, they put a stamp on you. But it's not any stamp, it's one that uses blacklight paint or something, so when you were in that part of the building, it glowed on your arm, but you can't see it anywhere else. It was totally crazy! I found out later, they changed the name and spruced it up, and added those safety percautions, because some guy was stabbed and killed there. Great.....wish I knew that before I went. I'd heard that story, but I didn't know the place. But it's not great though. Later in the night, a guy Will from my floor(who is apparently 32...had no idea), took off his shoe and took something out. It was like a little swiss army knife or something. I was a little freaked out, but I guess he forgot and had it with him, so he stuck it in his shoe so he could get in. They don't medal detect your shoes I guess.
Anyway, the night was generally good. The place was pretty nice, but way too crowed for my taste. And for some reason they turned off the music for like an hour and put the sound up on the wrestling match that was playing on 2 big screens(did I mention last week they were playing run away bride at philthy's...weird). Anyway, so that was annoying. Now, I really don't get men and sports. I've always though football is a bit weird, with the tight outfits and the touching of butts and stuff. But man, wrestling is supposed to be so manly, but if you asked me it's rather gay. I don't mean that it a bad way, but some of the holds they do.....hmmm.....I just don't see how straight men thing this is really "manly", given how homophobic they generally are. But hey, wrestling is actually better than I thought it would be-2 hot guys wrestling:) It was lightweights or something, so they weren't those really burly freaky guys.
Anyways, I'm babbling to avoid getting to work...millions and millions of things to do for school before I leave. Better get to them....
