Noise Problems
Well, noise is beginning to be a serious problem on the floor. There is a group of people who think there are the coolest people ever. Vanessa, Megan, Amanda(not my friend Amanda) are the worst, and they have a couple of other people around who just enjoy making noise just for the hell of it. Literally, Vanessa just likes to be loud. She has a loud voice to begin with, and she's always yelling. Like last night, for example, she was bored, she said, so she just hung out in the hall(right near my room), and just yelled random crap...today they were singing frere jacque or whatever, loudly in the hall or no apparent reason. I HATE her. I may have mentioned I talked a bit about it with 3rd floor people last week, but I just had a great conversation with a couple of them just now. I met Laura, and another girl Elizabeth in the hall, and they Elizabeth made some comment about the noise, and we immediately starting bonding over it. They said how they feel so bad for us on the third floor, since it's mainly just a couple people making all the noise. It bothers people one the floor below, and that makes it pretty damn noisy! They said we should all go to the don and tell her our feelings...perhaps if she gets an idea of how many people absolutely hate the small majority then and she passes it on, maybe they will see what a problem it is. I personally think they won't care. I don't know...I never have the guts to say anything. They said to come down anytime and hang out down there, on the quiet floor(except of course for the noise coming down from my floor).
I am currently frustrated with Amanda, who is blaring her Opera music. That's right....she loves opera music, and is always either singing it or playing it. And I can hear Vanessa's loud voice yelling. Michelle is a bit of a toss up for me. She's really nice, and we've talked about the noise(and the mess), but because her room is right across from the lounge, she takes a "if you can't beat them, join them" approach. So, I can sometimes hear her, although she's not the worst. But she is there with them. But she is genuinely really nice, and I do enjoy hanging out with her, as long as she's not with the ones I hate. And she is friends with them, so that's a problem. Oh well!
I just needed to vent. Feeling better...back to work. Still waiting to findout about my pracitcum....won't find out till monday at the earliest. I'm very mad!!!
