being single, childless and decidedly non-christian, i find myself in the usual christmas position: on call. and while i'm at it, i'm on new years eve too. it's not that i mind, but i don't want to do every holiday.
i do celebrate christmas--heck my family observes just about every chance to get together and eat lots of food. we'd do kwanzaa too if we could figure out what it is, or how to spell it. eid is just a little too out there and we usually stay on the christian side of the judeo-christian equation, though i do like chocolate coins...
at least the commute was nice this morning. there was a surprising amount of cars on the road at 07:15 this morning. i guess they're last minute travelers and the odd worker bee, like me.
we'll see how the day goes. hopefully not too bad. i'm thinking people will be holding down until at least the 26th. i'll let you know how my theory worked out...
holidaze,
merry christmas,
