It's December???
Finally!!!!!!!! The countdown to going home has begun! Yay!!! In 19 days I will be home. Far away from residents. Ahhh, I can't wait. Not that I don't like it here, but I miss home. I miss the people there. I miss snow. I miss mountains.
There was snow on my car this morning. A light dusting. But it was sunny and clear and 35 degrees today as I went outside.
And I must say .... I miss people from Phoenix all bundled up like the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man.
I got a care package from home today :) Yay! Cookies and fudge and a mini christmas tree! My mom is the greatest!
Life out here is ... well, still life. Residents have calmed down a bit since the vending machine and campfire incidents. Which is a plus. Two weeks until finals, so they are trying to raise their grade a couple letters in a few days. As for me ... I hopefully will be getting my textbook tomorrow for a class I have to mow through in two weeks because I have been putting it off. Smart move there. But I will deal.
Can I just say that Indiana dirvers licenses are too plain. booooring.
And another thing ... the selection of "famous hoosiers" that I have learned so far is not that impressive. Michael Jackson? David Letterman? Babyface? At least there's Larry Bird.
