There's a little bird on my balcony. I think it's a common blackbird, but, being no expert, I can't be sure. It must've fallen out of the nest, somewhere just beneath the roof. It's not a newborn baby, but it can't fly yet. I'd like to save it, but I don't know how. :(
I noticed it (I'll call it it, because I don't know the gender, of course) today, late in the afternoon. I went to the shop and bought some food for pet-birds (parrots). But when I put the food and water in front of it, poor little thing panicked and run to the other part of the balcony. Then I picked some cherries from the garden and put near it, but it didn't react - it just stood in balcony corner and didn't move. :( I didn't know what else to do - and then the night fell, so I couldn't do anything else.
Any advice? I'd really hate to see it die of hunger and thirst in front of my eyes... :(
