I'm bad about updating
What does it mean when I read the first paragraph of a New York Times article and instantly say out loud to the computer screen, "Hey! It's KARA Goucher, not Sara Goucher!" I don't know Kara Goucher, and I know more Sara(h)s than Karas. And it's about the U.S. Olympic track and field trials, no less. I must be certifiable in my addiction to things running-related.
On that note, today marks four weeks since I last ran. I'm going absolutely nuts. It's probably a metatarsal stress fracture in my foot, though such things don't usually show up on x-rays for a while, if ever.
Also, we've now been surrounded by insane amounts of smoke for a week. That is also nuts.
