If your tribal chief is killed, it respawns with the same name. The other tribe members hatch out with different names each time. This makes me theorize about Akalya culture - perhaps the chief is believed to be the reincarnation of the previous chief, or perhaps it's an honor title rather than a name.

I have an active imagination shut up.
