While thinking about things in the shower today, I uncovered an interesting reaction in myself. When someone or something points out to me, "Haha, you suck," I have a tendency to either say, "Fuck you, you can't tell me what to do, or "Fuck you, I didn't want to play anyway."
Both are unnecessarily angry. The latter is damaging to me more than to anything else. I will try to substitute "I can learn," for those reactions when I notice myself doing them.
