1. I realise that I need to stop abusing my headphones. Because even though ONE set is cheap enough at $25, the fact that I bought my third one for the year today? Means I've spent $75 so far! WTF. I never MEAN to break my headphones, obviously. But I just... do? And it sucks, because these are the nice clip-on kind, which produce AMAZING-quality

As I just wrote in Aliisa's journal, I had half a nervous breakdown trying to pick a song for this. How is anyone supposed to represent themselves in only ONE song? I almost just went with my favorite song of the moment but maybe in a month I would regret that choice. So this is possibly my favorite song of the last three years or so:

LOL, I apologise for any nervous breakdowns this meme might have caused! It IS ridiculously difficult to narrow down music picks, I must admit. Once I thought of songs to upload for you, I started second-guessing myself, and I just had to STOP and say, NO. I've made my decision. But there's so much more awesome than that! I can't be defined by TWO SONGS!!! ;)

Omigod, btw, on the Marc Broussard. ♥ Thank you for the rec. I LOVE that song - I kind of LOVE his voice. And the rock beat of the whole thing. Now I have to go buy his albums!!

Part of the reason I went with that song (and not Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve or the one I posted in Aliisa's, Alanis doing Seal's Crazy) is because his voice is just unbelievable in that song. And the blues, rock, and soul all rolled together, I don't often go OH I LOVE THE BEAT when I listen to music, but I do with that song.

I have most of his stuff that I can upload, including two of my own bootlegs and one official one, but honestly, it all skews more soul and less rocky. But some of the ballads and stuff he does are just gorgeous. Give me a couple of days, I am pooped right now but I can put a file together. And now I am put out that you want more songs because I'm too tired to think of more and how do I even narrow it down to two or three more? :P
