1. Omigod. I left work at 2.30 in the morning. I am made of so so so much LOSE. But at least... well, I'm trying anyway... to not go into work this weekend. Surely I can do it?! That was the POINT of staying until 2.30am!! Bah. My work life is about to embark upon an ever more terrifying downward spiral over the next few weeks. I know it. *weeps* I

DUDE YES. ALLISON IS IN THIS NEW MUSICAL. It's currently in out-of-town tryouts in LA, but it's going to open on Broadway (well it's scheduled to open, anyway) in March/April next year. IT'S SO EXCITING.

I ADORE her too, OMG. She was hands down my favourite character on West Wing, which is pretty hard to do since I loved all the guys so much. She's first and foremost a theatre actress though - so it'll be great to see her back onstage... and in a MUSICAL, no less! It makes my heart happy. :D

Oh absolutely on the Broadway pedigree for most of the cast - I saw Bradley Whitford in Boeing-Boeing when I was in NYC in June this year, and it was fantastic to be thisclose to someone so fabulous! XD Live theatre is the best - I only wish I could've seen Kristin in Wicked and The Apple Tree!

Brad is epic amounts of love. Josh is one of my favourite WW characters, except everything sort of falls by the wayside when I flail over the awesomeness that is CJ/Allison. ;) I heart him!

I think I've got Apple Tree somewhere - I probably do! But I haven't listened to it the way I should. Argh. It's weird though, since I heart Brian d'Arcy James and he was in that with her.

I'm a huge theatre person but it's even harder here in Singapore! Which is why I spend so much of my time fangirling in the direction of the Big Apple. *sobs*

BRIAN IS MY BOYFRIEND. Honestly, he has a voice that just won't quit. At some point I'm going to have to poke you into getting into more musical theatre - it's Cheno's first love, after all. There must be a reason she hearts it so! ;)

I definitely get it. My goal now is to find a way to make it such that I'll be living in NYC in about a year's time. Which means I should really be studying and applying to universities, argh!!

Well, you're not going to be able to avoid musical theatre spam on my LJ, so hopefully you'll find a couple of things at some point that might interest you too! ;)

And then you can visit NYC, hopefully when I'm there, and we'll go watch musicals together. ;)

Oooh, you asked for it! :D I would actually suggest you start with The Wild Party (this is the cast recording, even though it claims to have a date. It stars some pretty awesome people i.e., Brian d'Arcy James, Julia Murney, Idina Menzel, Taye Diggs. I've never seen it, but the music is amazing - one of my favourite shows ever.

Also, some Julia can never go far wrong - try my fanmix? XD

Oh god I know what you mean - if I'd MISSED Kristin in Wicked, I'd have killed myself! I was in NYC at the end of 2006, and thought about watching Wicked but didn't have the time. I wasn't too upset about it though, because there was no way I'd have missed Julia in it - she went into the NYC production only the month AFTER I left NYC. But if she'd been in it, and I'd missed it? I'd have kicked myself FOREVER. ;)

I love how you're willing to fly eight hours there and back. I flew almost 24 this June for a NYC trip of awesome. BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE EVER. :D
