I think it is the hair. Here is is redish. She looks washed out in the blond mode. I also like the dark hair she sported a month ago. Yummy, indeed!

I most certainly approve of Julia as a brunette or a redhead. (Especially as a redhead - she should sport that colour more often!) I think her current hair is reddish-brown *points at my LJ header* and it looks great!

Oh, that's kind of a fandom collision moment for me. It's Julia with Alice Ripley! :)

I have never actually seen the legendary Alice Ripley in anything. Her voice is solidly in my head, however, from the OBC of Sideshow. She rocks.

Oh god, I haven't seen Alice in anything either, and THOUGHT I would because she was supposed to do a concert in the Broadway By The Year series when I'm in NYC next month. But I think she's pulled out of that, which makes me very sad indeed. Her voice is PHENOMENAL. If I weren't crazy over Julia right now, I'd be in serious flail for Alice! She's amazing in Side Show, absolutely.

No, to Julia either, but something about her videos and that voice, make me forget that I have never been within 50 feet of her. She is so alive! Even on tape!

You speak the truth. Something about Julia is just - remarkably alive. Doesn't matter if it's just through a tape or a bootleg. I love how I can tell she's ACTING her songs, even by just listening to them and not watching video. Julia? Pwns the universe. ;)
