Oh yes, most absolutely. Anyone who has an icon of Ainsley blaming it on the bossa nova - I used to have that song on repeat after I saw this episode, man - is evidently one of the coolest people who ever lived.

I need to rewatch CJ!Danny scenes. He's so cute with his little beard and his braces. Awwwww. ALSO, WITHOUT DANNY THERE WOULD BE NO GAIL.
I'm still not sure I've forgiven Rob Lowe for leaving although I am a biiiiig fan of Will.

DANNY + GAIL + CJ = OT3, FOR DEFINITE. I warmed up to Danny - didn't like him much at first because he was, like, all in the way of the CJ/Toby banter and stuff. But I definitely warmed up to him. HE GAVE HER A GOLDFISH, ZOMG.

Oooh, I ♥ Will too!! Joshua Malina ftw. (To be honest - Rob/Sam = the least exciting main character on WW for me. I can totally see why he left, because he just wasn't getting the same exciting character development stuff as the other actors, who weren't even the big 'stars' on the show.)

It's interesting to me that Rob/Sam went the same way as Anthony/Mark in ER and Courteney/Monica in Friends - they were the established actor/star brought in as the 'lead' and ended up getting eclipsed by the other people in the ensemble. I think personally that Sam was underused - his character still had a lot left to do. Look at 'Somebody's going to emergency, somebody's going to jail'. That side of him could have so been more explored.
I liked Danny's morals. And his gumption. And the goldfish pin he gave CJ. And omg I bet his and CJ's baby was really super cute. WHAT DO YOU THINK THEY NAMED IT? I bet it had curly hair and grew up to be tall.

Oh I agree about Sam's character being criminally under-used - that's what I meant, actually. Not that he wasn't any good as Sam. I liked him (though, again, not one of my favourite characters of all the ones I loved). But he just didn't get the face-time he thought he would - he was excellent in SGTE, SGTJ. Don't watch ER, but I think for Courteney/Monica it actually worked out okay: she wasn't THAT much of a name, really, compared to her cast-mates, and this was a truly ensemble show with each character getting the same screen-time. WW was ensemble too, but some - e.g., ALLISON JANNEY - just so clearly commanded the screen that she got more and more stuff to do. So all was right with the world, unless you're, you know, Rob Lowe.

EEEEE. Danny and CJ's kids would be freakishly tall and super cute. They'd be a little ginger too, I think. Heh. ;)
