I'm not entirely sure why the universe is conspiring against me and keeping me from the internet before/on my trip TO the US, but there we have it. I had a little computer snafu trying to transfer stuff to my computer, so ended up leaving the house later than planned. And then my brother and dad decided to get out of the car and have a late-night snack before sending me off... eating into planned internet chillout time at the airport pre-departure. And NOW I'm in Qatar, oh good ol' Qatar where I appear to spend a great GREAT deal of my transit time, and they want us to board two hours early! ARGH. I know that there's a bus that has to take us to the plane, but COME ON.
Sigh. In any case - I never had the chance to post my hiatus post, so this is it, before I dash off to get on the plane way too early. I'M GOING TO BE IN NEW YORK IN... LESS THAN 20 HOURS, GUYS. :D I am kind of stupidly stupidly excited.
