2. Let's not remind me of that awful weekend trip to Malaysia I DID take in my first year that made me swear off any such nature-related trips in future. ;) I don't know WHAT this says about me but I am super SUPER tempted to make another trip later this year. I'm not sure if I can swing May, though that would be GREAT. What's the weather like then? I APPRECIATE THE RHYME. AND AM JEALOUS THAT YOU ARE SEEING WONDERETTES AGAIN SOON. *cries*

5. She only perked up at the soap opera chatter, wtf, Julia. Way to show off your dorkitude. Although... I guess that's why we ♥ her? ;)

7. I don't think I've heard the original version of Falling Slowly except glancingly. So this just thrilled me a LOT. Yay for liking Two Of Us, I find the two of them SO cute. Anya IS a brave kid - her dad kicked off his world tour in Taiwan (the one that just came through Singapore), and she dueted live with him there... in front of 15,000 people. I suspect this is her seeing if she can get a start in the entertainment business. Hey, if your dad is already world-famous (ish), why not!

2. Eek, faily trip to Malaysia? Sounds like a good story. xD What another NYC trip says about you is that you are awesomely obsessed with theatre! The weather in May is GREAT - not hot yet, maybe a little rainy, but generally nice and springlike! :-D (Also, did you see that there's a sequel to Marvelous Wonderettes? It's opening in California in November!)

2. Ha, a godawful, truly truly godawful, LONG story for another day. Remind me about it when we've run out of Julia stories the NEXT time I'm in NYC. ;) I fully admit to being obsessed with theatre. I WANTS IT. And ooh, they're staging Winter Wonderettes again? SO CUTE! XD I think it's been done before - at least based on ads I've seen on Youtube. Roger Bean seems a bit obsessed with his Wonderettes characters and the various incarnations of his show. Certainly Bets Malone has been playing Suzy for nine years or something insane like that. I would LOVE to see current cast doing Winter Wonderettes though. It would be HILARIOUS. Also, based on that synopsis in Playbill, BJ would clearly totes be throwing a Christmas party to announce her engagement to Cindy Lou. :P

7. I plan to watch the movie at some point! It never screened here, which is why I haven't seen it yet. But I do have the DVD waiting to be watched! And I just went to check how old Anya is and I'm shocked. I thought she'd be older - turns out she's 14. Maybe 15 this year. O_O Her brother Andrew also sings/acts/plays the guitar. HE'S HOT. Urm, I have totes not stalked Emil's son on the internet. TOTES NOT.
