God I am sick of being ill
3 serious colds and a somach bug in 2 months. God this sucks.
Sat her under a quilt with a large plastic bowl wathing endless TV because every time I try to do something I feel sick and have to run to the bathroom.
Managed to get up, have breakfast and even sat in my work clothes for an hour waiting for the nausia to fade before finally giving up the fight and phoning the absence line.
Daft thing is that even if I start feeling better and manage to have somthing to eat it makes no sense to go into work because of our stupid absence system. Surely it is better to have a system which allows an employee to work when they are well and not when they can't rather than worrying about the rules. Can't remember how many days I have had in the last 12 months but in the last 2 months I have had 5.5 days so am likely to trip the bradford factor this year. Damn.
