30 days of Buffy - Favorite Female Character
For today I decided to do gifs instead of a picspam, so here are a few gifs of some of my favorite moments of my favorite female character. :)
Day 3 - Favorite Female Character: Buffy Summers
Because she saves the world even when she has to sacrifice her first love.
Because even when she's terrified and outmatched she proves her bravery and resourcefulness.
Because she is determined not to let her sister die.
Because she gets up everyday and lives while dealing with depression.
Because she's a BAMF.
She wasn't my favorite from the start, but once I understood more about her strength and her heart it really wasn't a contest. While I love all of the other female characters on BtVS, Buffy battles depression and big bads and she still comes out stronger on the other side. Other people have written much more eloquently about her, so I'm not even going to try, but Buffy is my hero. And she has the best quips.
