LJ Fail
LOL, I got an email notification that it's my birthday. Well, close. Not for two more hours.
I suppose I'll do as I did before and count out a few of my blessings. I still have a job where people are pleasant to work with and people are happy to come see me, that's no small thing. I live close by, so I walk to and from as much as the weather will allow. It's nice to enjoy being outside and decompress at the end of the day, even though the summers are wretchedly hot.
Attended the Grapefest again this year, tried some great wines but had to pass on the Grapestomp because I broke some toes a month or so back. Kinda lame to break my streak with something with a less than impressve story to it, but I guess it's more important that it didn't hold me back from doing anything that needed to get done.
I've enjoyed several excellent films this year. I'd like to get back into reading books in my spare time, but we'll see how that goes. I have a few adventures between the pages just waiting for me when I make the time for them.
The family is doing well. An operation here, a citizenhip and end of a job hunt there. We're all rocking along just fine. Here's hoping this trend continues for all my friends and family..and me too.;)
So another year to my tally, nothing outlandish to write home about but I learned some things and made new friends. I think that's enough to celebrate. Let's all have a year even better than the last.
