Today, so far, has been the best Monday I've had in a long time. I don't know if it was the weather, the fact that scantrons went down 5 cents, me being outside walking around with just myself, the rediculously comfortable shirt I'm wearing, or the most fabulous playlist I had going while studying for my 6 chapter Personality of Psych. exam. I think the playlist had a lot to do with it, and it mixed perfectly with the weather. The playlist was as follows:
- Tool- 10,000 Days
- Tool- Right in Two
- Led Zeppelin- Going to California
- Sia- Breathe Me
- Sarah Mclachlan- Fumbling Towards Ecstacy
- Keane- Somewhere Only We Know
- Tool- Reflection*
- Switchfoot- Only Hope
- Charlie Brown Theme Song
- Travis- More Than Us
- Richard & Linda Thomson- Dimming of the Day
- Incubus- Warning
- Incubus- Aqueous Transmission
- Janet Jackson- Again
- Peter Gabriel- Salsbury Hill
- Simon & Garfunkle- Mrs. Robinson
- Anna Nalick- Breathe
- DMB- Best of What's Around
- Frank Sinatra- Fly me to the Moon
- DMB- The Proudest Monkey
- Led Zeppelin- Black Mountain Side
- Louis Jordan- Knock Me a Kiss
So there you have it. I highly recommend this playlist. It really seemed to do wonders for my concentration and also for my affect in general. Fantabulous. Also, feel free to bounce along with songs that put a jump in your bones, or scratch to "Aqueous Transmission", as I often do. Adds to the overall effect of the playlist on your day.
* When this song came on, I was writing "only" in cursive and the way I wrote it went perfect to the drum beat. It was so awesome I did it about 10 more times... so maybe this particular song threw off my concentration a bit, but who cares..."only" was the coolest word I knew for a good 15 seconds.
What are you waiting for? If you don't have those songs, illegally download them nooow!!!!
