Recently went to my annual "If you want to have more birth control, you better come in" check up. I was expecting much in the way of lecturing and questioning (re: weight loss, and by their stats I've lost 90 pounds since my last visit), but was instead greeted with praise and cheers of "we're so proud of you." I found it odd. Is that odd to find it odd?
Anyway, that was the fun bit about the 2 hour visit. That accounts for about 3 minutes of the visit. The rest was the regular womanly torture (if you don't know, then I am not going to tell you), a few needle pricks, trying once again to go to the restroom and finding I have very little to pee, and a baseline EKG. Which was odd, I don't know why they necessarily wanted that, but there you go. No signs of breast cancer, with blood pressure and EKG all "perfect." I'll still have to wait on the blood test and womanly test results. Bonus - because of family history with breast cancer, I get to take a baseline mammogram! Except, I'd expected this to go on the same day, I have to make an entirely different appointment for it.
Joy! :(
Then, there is this to report:
I've only got a couple of more days before actual birthday day. Must sit down seriously with this to fix it.
Things, at least, are moving nicely along with the sweater... but I realize that the majority of the sweater is the easy bit, with the hard bit just around the bend.
Finally, April brings me back some of my favorite shows! However, I am afraid soon my favoritest show which is currently on TV is ending soon, which makes me sad. Check out

Hulu sometime. I swear, I thought this would be the worst show in the world for some reason... thank goodness I gave it a chance!
