I have since turned the offer down. It was a moment of weakness. I don't want another horse right now. Chester is all I need :)
I've been given the opportunity to loan (with view to buy) a gorgeous Arab x mare called Lacey. She's owned by someone who used to board at our livery and I know she's had a good level of training and if things didn't work out she could always go back to them.
Do I need another horse? No.
Do I think she's a lovely mare, and is it a dream of mine to own a part Arab mare? Yes.
I know that isn't a good enough reason, but I just can't get her out of my head. The moment I saw pictures of her I was taken. I'm currently in a steady job, and can afford two horses at my current livery. I'm also wanting to take riding more seriously, including doing some shows etc (not seriously, but still working hard enough to do our best). I work from 10am to 2.30pm so do have time for two, plus there are always people looking to ride and it'd be nice to have the option of riding with friends even if it was just a potter up the lane for the non-experienced people.
I'll put her info and some pictures under the cut. Opinions, thoughts, etc are appreciated. Even if they are along the lines of "You're being stupid, don't get the pony."
