chinese buffet is love, or it will be as soon as SBR gets home and we go. :) mmmm.

i'm having a great time planning the menu for thanksgiving, and believe you me, it's going to be a heck of a lot mroe than hummous and falafel!

so far:
a spicy pumpkin dip from one of my jewish cookbooks
dolma (vegetarian)
tabouleh
almond-pistachio dessert (from one of the indian cookbooks)
nut rice (from a different indian cookbook)
dal
fatoush
and something else i haven't found yet. :) maybe chicken kebab...

and pumpkin pie, although it's going to be a fancy recipe from the latest issue of Body & Soul. :)

we're going to smoke shisha, and i'm going to make turkish coffee with cardamom.... mmmm!!!

day off tomorrow ---> shopping for food! (and for a black jacket. :))
