My grandma made this cake every year for my birthday.
Gran Peg's Lemon Cake
Ingredients
Cake
o 1 (18 ounce) boxes Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
o 4 eggs
o 3/4 cup Wesson Oil
o 3/4 cup water
o 1 teaspoon lemon flavoring
o 1 (3 ounce) packages lemon Jell-O gelatin
Icing
o 1 cup powdered sugar
o 5 tablespoons lemon juice
Directions
1. First off ignore the directions on the cake mix box.
2. Add in all the cake ingredients listed above and stir until well mixed.
3. Transfer your batter to a well greased bundt pan.
4. Bake at 325°F for 40 minutes.
5. Turn it upside down onto your platter.
6. While it is cooking whisk the powdered sugar and lemon juice and then pour it on hot.
