It's been a lovely day here. :) Last night I did something I rarely do. I broke down and bought a movie and actually *watched* it! :-O It was The Incredibles and it was great! I think the little extra on the second disc, "Jack Jack Attack", was even better than the full movie. Now I think I'm gonna have to watch another movie. I'd forgotten how much fun and how relaxing that can be.
I applied for a newspaper job. I sent my cover letter, resume and a sample of my writing to the email address in the job listing and got back a notice from the mailer demon that the domain didn't exist, so I went Googling and discovered an "in progress" web page for the publisher with a different email address. I re-directed my stuff to that address. I'm hoping that it gets to the right person and that the incorrect address in the job listing is discouraging the competition. :D (Especially since I don't have any actual newspaper experience!)
Oh yeah! And I have to mention what my cats did! For the second time I woke up to find a dead mouse in the trash! They catch them and kill them and when they're done playing with them, they throw them away!
