So, we were planning to go camping this weekend. That was before the forecast called for 4 INCHES OF SNOW and winds of up to 60 MPH at our campground. It rained hard all night, and our bank washed out in two spots. Just surface damage - I can see that it's not going to go down much further, at least, but a bunch of my carefully transplanted violets and grass got washed down to the toe of the slope (where they will probably DIE). A moose came through last night and ate my sunflower! The only one I had with any chance of blooming this fall! ARGH!!!!
