I'm pretty sure I'm going to make it work so that I can actually go, though right now I'm pretty nervous about taking off for six weeks and having to pay tuition and room and board on top of not making any money for that amount of time.
Wow - I was fully prepared for a rejection letter! My manuscript was the prologue and part of the first chapter of The Willow Maiden, plus a synopsis.
I'm excited and nervous and wondering which of my partially written short stories I need to pull out and work on as I need to send an additional story soon.
In other news, I've been so insanely busy that, as I said to my husband and stepson last night, I can't even keep track of all the things I'm procrastinating.
