Shame on you Arnold Schwartzenegger!
I can't believe they killed Tookie Williams. On a purely human level, it is sad, and on a practical level, downright stupid. All this proves is that no matter how much you turn your life around, once you've gone bad, you might as well stay bad, because in the end they will just kill you anyway. What a waste to kill someone who was doing so much good, from within prison, to inspire others *not* to make the same mistakes that he had. Now that voice has been silenced. Not to mention the fact that there never was any hard evidence linking him to the murders. Perhaps he was a murderer; there is no way to know now. He certainly did lots of bad things. But how would it harm anyone to let him live out his life in prison and continue to be a voice against gangs? What a stupid, stupid waste.
