(no subject)
Spent the better part of the morning trailing behind my mother while she relished in all the stores. Shopping sucks. Shopping the way my mother shops sucks even more! No store can be unseen, no item left unturned, interested in taking it or not it has to be examined. Walking down the road, a new department store came into sight and you'd think she was on the way to a cup final the way she was acting. Inside was just more of the same stuff we'd been seeing all morning. Looked around for a bookshop where I could wait till she got bored but there weren't any in sight. Found a gadget store though .. temporary relief! Spent some time in there and my mother returned just as I was starting to handle a dick shaped contraption with the words "squeeze my balls and see what happens". I never did get to see what happens but I bet some white stuff would've shot up the top .. got a keychain like that. Got talked into buying a couple of clothes items and that's 2005's wardrobe sorted for me. Also bought a piece of fitness equipment I'd been looking for.
By the afternoon I was knackered and slept it off. Why are dreams so much better than life? I don't even remember what I was dreaming .. just know I was having a good time. Football was involved .. vodka too .. hey, if you get pissed in your dream, do you forget what happened like you would in real life? Maybe that's why I don't remember. I usually remember my dreams. When I woke up I was cranky, not only due to the actual act of waking up, but also due to the hot & humid weather that surrounded me. Yuck!
Spent the evening chatting online, listening to a football programme on the radio, listening to music and posting on forums. Then went out for a run. There was a cool breeze outside .. much cooler than it had been indoors! I spent a lot of time in the park today. The sky was weird .. had a red undertone and no stars at all. Don't know what made me stay there so long .. usually it's the stars. Have you ever seen fat, sleeping slugs? Pretty damn cute if you ask me.
