There is something about the cooling temperature of the fall and thanksgiving weekend that reminds me of The Smiths song, "Asleep".   It brings me back to the first time I read The Perks of Being a Wallflower  and for some reason it just seems to go with the comforting feeling of Thanksgiving. See for me, The Smiths say "December" a mix of bitter cold and sexually confused teen angst. Every winter I have to listen to "Reel Around The Fountain" and contemplate throwing myself into a snow bank.

"The Fall" for me is Death Cab For Cutie and The Postal Service.

LOVE that song. Death Cab is a spring summer thing for me. How weird is that though? Is that a weird column to put in a student newspaper? I don't really know where to start with it. Basically it's going to turn into Lindsay's LJ published for MTL to see every week. Suckas!!!

What do you mean by putting it in a student newspaper? the question about music and seasons, or just your LJ's copy/pasted into them.

both, I am writing a column and this is it so it will be along the same lines of how I write on this... I hate Carrie Bradshaw. I want to be David Suzuki, he rules life. or naomi kline.
