Tours, Jordan and Just Life

So I have not posted in a couple of days, it is the thing to try to just focus on God, school and dancing (which is very important). This morning I had a great tour. I took around college counselors of high school students. Of course we ran over an hour which is the normal amount of time but it was fun. I actually answered questions about drug and alcohol abuse at school which is amazing because I never really answer that question- I usually try to defer it and not talk about the subject- Come on: college students on every campus are going to try some form of drug at some point in their life- if before or after they are legal is fully up to the person and if the substance is legal or not that is also up to the person. It was cool because they were all totally interested and usually I have one student who goes to the campus just because it is in the area for them to look at. They did ask me about other schools in the area and what I thought of them... I forgot to mention that Reed was scary. Woops! They also asked me about what the work load is like compared to my friends on other campuses... well that is a loaded question because the person has a lot to do with how much work they are going to do and also the classes/major is the other major part of study habits! loaded questions... how I love them!

On another point, the Lord has brought a student to school from Palestine- which actually she lives in Jordan. It is cool to hear about her life and pray for her and her family. It is interesting to hear what she has to say about the Middle East and she has invited me to go and visit Jordan which I hope to do in Janurary. That would be really cool to go and see the Middle East and to actually be in a place that has so much conflict and battles over Land. That is all Isreal wants... land... it is nothing more... it is like the US after the Louisanna Purchase... we just pushed our way across the country with no concern for other people. Why does this world have to fight over land and slaughter people because of their "needs" for all that they want! It is crazy how much this world needs Jesus.

On other notes, the Lord is so amazing with support for project- which is so awesome- He totally provides! We have 3 students that are going on project this summer from school. We invited people to leadership and it was cool to see their reactions... we had one person we invited and he was kinda nervous because we called and set up a meeting... it was cool to see his face of relief after we had told him that. I am exciting about surprising my friend with the book we put together for her about her and her baby. Dancing really feels like my place at school and taking people out who do not know Christ and showing them love through just being and having the people that I have met thorugh dancing who know Jesus dance with them and show them Christ's love! I have also decided that I am going to volunteer for Orientation at school but have not decided whether or not I am going to go home in August- I have friends in LA, San Diego... ect and then a trip to Seattle. It would be a lot of driving but I would totally love to see some people that I have not seen in a while. I will have to see what the Lord says about that because I may need to go back home before thanksgiving.... We will see. I am excited about project and to see how the Lord works in my life and changes me over the summer to come back to school and see His renown at school and to see Him be glorified by all students.
