taking a break
I spent half the day telling myself that writing will always be part of me, and I'll get my feet back under me...and the other half trying to convince myself that the part of me that is "writer" is important but by no means all. I am other things too. And, I have billions of blessings.
I received a rare piece of fan mail last night. Nicely timed.
For the first time ever, in over ten years, I skipped my writers group meeting because I just didn't feel like it. I've missed before of course, but only because of scheduling. It's actually going on at this moment, downstairs in my living room. Shanna is hosting. I--well--I guess I taking a break.
