Ugh, why do people have to be so rude?
I'm in the process of writing a monstrously epic fic over at fanfiction.  Its up to 61 chapters and I'm barely halfway through with it.
In the beginning I would get tons of feedback and positive response.  And of course like all stories it died down a little.  But I tried to remain positive.  And then I begged ( Read more... )

Unfortunately there are far more rude and cruel people willing to speak up online than nice ones. One fic of mine was completely torn apart a few months ago and I really didn't think I'd do another fic because of it.

Anyway, try not to let the assholes get you down - I know it's hard, but if you do then they win. And really, where's the fun in that?

You've mentioned the bad feedback from that fic before, which one is it?
And yes I agree, the nice to mean ratio is really off.
