oh I love this question. reading asimov's robot stories and watching Star Trek TNG has always meant I've found this question to be very relevant to science fiction and the nature of humanity. when its an isolated case such as Data or Andrew from Bicentenial man, I think it is sometimes easier to be open minded that a man-made creation could achieve ( Read more... )

well who knew Starbuck was actually me? she isn't of course but that certain someone who thought that the sam-starbuck-apollo-dee love...rhombus could be equated (or shouldn't be) to a situation in my life had Starbuck pegged as someone else, but, her complete mentalness makes her sound more like me, still, her sex drive puts her as someone else.
