Embarrassing confession...

I have to admit something and I hope no one judges me for it. Yesterday I went out to lunch at Noodles with Lauren. We were having a nice enough time, catching up, whatever. out of the corner of my eye, I saw my friend Ty walk in, and with him was another guy. On second glance I saw that the second guy was Nate, who I met on Senior Trip and who is looking SO GOOD these days. I've seen him working at Sears (in the very sexy power tool department) a bunch since I've been home. Anyway, I kept sneaking glances as they were ordering, and then they sat down and of course Ty came over to say hi (I knew he would, he's very chatty). Naturally I was enthusiastic and stuff, just in case Nate was looking. Ty asked if Caitlin and I were going to the Ave (which is tonight) and I was like, "I'm not really sure, you might just see us there..." So. confession now: Is it bad that I'm more interested in going to the Ave because I think there might be a chance of seeing Nate again?

Unfortunately they sat just outside of my line of vision, so all I had to do was turn my head slightly and I could look at them...I felt I had to explain to Lauren so I slipped back into high school mode and gushed about how hot Nate is. I'm glad she agreed. Isn't that frustrating, when you're excited about something and the other person is like "eh"?

Back to Valpo this weekend...after that, time to buckle down and get ready for France!! Got an email from Sophie saying winter was going to be bad there this year, with temperatures around 15 degrees F. I emailed back and I was like, "oh how cute! Girlfriend, I come from Wisconsin. We had -3 on Christmas!" haha
