But no boxes for this one. I received an invitation for
an account at Dreamwidth because I had a validated OpenID account, so I'm working at getting my new journal set up. I'm not sure exactly how I'm going to use this one -- primary journal, mirror for the others, or just a fic journal -- but the more I use it, the more I like it.
I could go into some of the features that I like or the lack of advertising, but really the main reason is here:
Dreamwidth Diversity Statement Being set up by people -- fans -- who know what fans want from a journal is a big plus for me. The ease with with an OpenID account can be set up means that fandom is less likely to be fractured, and more likely to be expanded. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
