The theories on SIDS seem to keep on changing. I know that I was told to lay Teah on her back, but then it changed to sides. After she started rolling, she used to sleep on her face with her bum right up in the air. It was the cutest thing ever. It's funny, but that's the position I carried her in until about month 8 when she turned south!
As for bed-sleeping, I firmly believe in doing what's right for you and the baby. Some people find it's easier to keep the baby with them, others find it makes for a restless night. I'm a light sleeper and Teah a busy one, so it was no-go from day one. Everyone will have loads of advice, but do what feels best for you both. Happy mum means happy baby.
