(no subject)
As I was about to go to bed two or three hours ago, I realized that kittens plus disassembled Powerbook on the dining room table was probably a recipe for disaster, so I finished installing the new hard drive for M's notebook and closing the machine.
My suggestion to anyone who ever takes an Apple machine apart, above any other possible suggestion, is to label the screws and exactly where they came from. I have four screws left over (maybe five, I think I heard one hit the floor), and I'm missing four. And three of those four are external screws. *grph*
I think I'm just going to crash in the Soft Room tonight, since it's so close to the dining room. So. . . tired.
