Very touching.
There are people living in the light, singing songs of Donna Noble, a thousand million light-years away... This bit always makes me grin from ear to ear...

Exactly. And green_maia - who was very upset about Donna's fate - commented on how the worst aspect was that the Doctor denied her that choice. (Not that his actions weren't understandable. Poor Ten!)
Very touching.
Thank you. :)

Same here. Except it also makes me all choked up...

Yeah, that too... But it's such an epic image. :)

LOL! I guess the Tardis sort of is the fixed-gear bike of spaceships.
Lovely little story. Donna is my all-time fave, and I like that 11 gave her a choice. I don't think 10 would have ever done that. I'm not totally convinced that 11 would either, but I'm willing to suspend my disbelief for the sake of closure :D

I've seen him described as a hipster various places, so I thought it'd be fun to throw that in there. (Donna wouldn't approve!)
Lovely little story.
Thank you! :) (It's been eating my head for... months now.)

I ♥ Donna to infinity, and then Maia inspired me...

Ah but Eleven is all sneaky and manipulative. ;)

Why yes, I have been thinking about Something Blue. I think the Doctor and Willow have a lot in common. I wonder if anyone has written crossover fic? I've seen a few, but not involving Willow!

Hmmm, yes and no. I do believe he's also learning to let people make their own choices (see 'Amy's Choice' f.ex.) and I think he's coming to understand how painful it is to have your choice taken away from you ("I don't want to go.") But he stacks the odds in favour of the choice he wants her to make. ;)

*ponders this* I think *Ten* had a lot in common with Willow (hello Mr control freak!), but I'm not sure about Eleven. He strikes me as more of a Giles type. *g*

Thank you! That's exactly what I wanted, because it is very problematic.
I can totally imagine Eleven leaving Amy and Rory honeymooning and popping off to fix Donna.
I'm kinda planning a follow-up fic, dealing with his side of it, because everything, of course, has consequences.
