Group routines FTW.
Favorites of the night were definitely the two mini group routines.
Bridget, Carly, Jacque, and Jessica perform with Marcquet, Ricky, Rudy, and Teddy, Travis routine (also, I don't care that Ricky is half my age, he needs to be in black with eyeliner, like, ALWAYS):

Brooklyn, Emily, Tanisha, and Valerie perform with Casey, Emilio, Serge, and Zack, Sonya routine:

In pairs land, I think Bridget and Emilio have turned out to be a wonderful couple. Provided she sticks around long enough, I'd love to see Bridget dance with Ricky, but I am enjoying the heck out of these two as they are.

I also want Carly to dance with Ricky, but I do think Serge does a great job of partnering her (no doubt all the ballroom training helping out, there). This particular dance didn't do much for me, it was fine, but I'm including it because of that last move she does, jeez.

Valerie's moves could be sharper, as Misty pointed out. It shows particularly against Ricky's preciseness, and that's never not going to be an issue. But again with the joy and happiness. And also the giant question of how they are still breathing and upright at the end.

And I'm throwing Jacque and Zach in here because I did enjoy getting a chance to see Zach flex his dancing (and literal) muscles.

As for the rest, I feel for Emily, dislocated shoulder definitely accounts for some of the tentativeness of that routine, but she and Teddy were never going to do justice to it, I think. I couldn't even watch all the way through. Same for the routine from Marcquet and Jessica (who, all the jokes have been made, I'm sure, but kiss of death, yes indeed). Brooklyn and Casey never gelled for me, and they were entirely the wrong couple to get an actual hip-hop routine. Finally, I can't get over wanting Rudy off my screen, but Tanisha keeps impressing me.
