Adjusting
Ah, and so the hectic life style of the school year begins...
Let's see...I moved into my house last Thursday and it only took me 2.5 hours to unpack which wasn't bad at all. Maybe that means I need to go shopping because aparently I don't own enough clothes or something. Got drunk Thursday night but I can't remember where I went...probably Kappa Sigs since I ended up there every night this weekend. Friday was spent showing my sister around, getting her books, a trip to Walmart (the first of three), and then some heavier drinking later. I was actually not too bad Friday night since I had to get up early on Saturday to clean. It was work session day meaning all 38 girls had to crawl out of bed and scrub the house like crazy so we aren't living in a pig sty. No big deal. Saturday night was by far the most fun I have had in awhile. I started drinking at 6 and didn't stop until about 2 or 3 in the morning...spent the evening with my friend Mo and then off to some house party and then of course ended at Kappa Sigs. The beauty of it?? All that drunkenness and no drama so far on my part!! Quite impressive if you know me. I am thinking the whole year could run this smoothly.
So anyway, Sunday morning I woke up early for reasons beyond my understanding and in a still sort of drunk state, my roommates and I went to Target and Loews to finish getting the stuff for our room. We made complete asses of ourselves everywhere we went, but that was okay. Went to a cookout that night and then to church before finally coming home to chill. A good weekend!
Now for school...I think I could very well die this semester (I say that every time). Besides a biochemistry class that I am surrounded by grad students, I am in a Spanish class where half the kids have lived in another country and speak fluently. I am usually pretty good at Spanish, but I just may have to drop this class and forget about the minor, I can still learn to speak it and be bilingual without it ruining my GPA.
Oh well...all in all, it has been an outstanding few days and it has been great seeing everyone again. I am sure I will have more fun things to say soon, but for now, that is the boring update. Sorry...
