Seg sent me this, he got it out of a magazine. I thought it was excellent!!!
Patient: "I have a sore throat."
Doctor 2000BC: "Here, eat this root."
Doctor AD1000: "That root is heathen - say this prayer."
Doctor AD1850: "That prayer is superstition - you must drink this elixir."
Doctor AD1940: "That elixir is quackery - swallow this pill."
Doctor AD1985: "That pill is ineffective - take this antibiotic."
Doctor AD2002: "That antibiotic is artificial - here, eat this root."
