I really love the way that Pepa seeks Don Lorenzo out more than anyone else. I should think that Don Lorenzo's relationship to his daughter-in-law gets more and more father-like. Thanks so much for sharing this with us. It's been a painful journey but in a world without the Peliroja, life goes on still.

I think one of the most fabulous things to come out of Pepa/Silvia was the relationship b/w Pepa and DL, and how he really came to think of her as his daughter. There's no doubt in my mind that they would have turned to each other for comfort and support with Silvia gone. They would have most definitely taken care of each other.

Yeah, I seem to be very good at making people cry around here. They were really such an awesome couple, Silvia's death was just WRENCHING, and it's difficult to imagine Pepa w/ anyone else. But I really wouldn't want her to live forever alone and in sadness either. It's just such a process for her, and every time there's a step forward, her first instinct is to RUN. Ay, poor Pepa. Thanks God her FIL is around to provide some sort of anchor.
Also, on a completely unrelated note, Renee seems awfully happy to see one Mr. Jack Bauer right there. Big, ol' smile. :) But hell, I'd give Batman!Jack a big squeeze too.
