Change

Well, it's been a pretty eventful time since I last updated my journal. So many different things have happened. I guess one of the biggest is Rob and Fi - they very bravely both told me they had fallen for each other - now bearing in mind I've spent the past year still unable to deal with my brake up with Fi it must have been hard. Just for the record though I pulled myself together over the past month and feel I have done exactly that now and can now finally move on. Rob and Fi are must best mates and all I want is for them is to be happy.

On a more gossipy note, I had a f**king fabulous weekend. (excuse the french). Fri night, me, Rob, lee and Brydget had a slumber party. It was so silly. We drank a stupid amount of alcohol, danced around, sang and did daft things til 4 or in the morning. Though, I have to say the highlight of the eve for me was being tucked up in bed with a hug from both of my gay boys.

Sat was also amazing. It was Lee Lee's bday. We started the day by going to the Manchester climbing centre. On the first climb I was absolutely terrified. Rob practically push me up the wall but when I got to the top I loved it. After that I kinda got hooked and relaxed. It was ace. I think I really want to learn to climb properly now - I'll have to add it onto the list of things I want to do - climbing, flagging, surfing ...

Post that we had a brief pint in Taurus before going home to get changed and going to La Vina on Deansgate (Tapas) for dinner. The food was ace and so was the company. Laughed a lot especially when the girls left my phone number for the waitress with a naughty note. We then went to Taurus for several before heading to Via for cocktails. Just as we were leaving Via Hana came and joined us and that's when my eve got even more interesting. Headed to the Thompson Arms for a few and twirl. Before I even quite new what had happened me and Hana were pulling each other. We stayed in there for quite a while before the lot of us headed to Cruz. The boys all got in fine but they wouldnt let Hana in because she was "slurring" - well she was the most sober one out of us - she can't help it if she Czech!

Anyway, we went to Churchills instead and met Gareth for one last drink. Then we went back to mine... all I'll say is it was amazing. I spent the entirety of Sunday was a massive grin plastered on my face. Sunday eve was training as normal however, I was knackered so was pretty special. It was helped along though by there being a fire alarm in the middle of the session because the sauna had caught fire!

Post training had a very quick dinner with Rob - a chat with Fi which was a lovely finish to my weekend and went to bed. Now in the last week of my work at Total Swimming. Got all this change and activity is exciting.

Xx
