My first facial treatment

Aug 26, 2007 23:45

Though I'd been living in the city, I’d never did any facial treatment and I only use any facial products on an irregular basis…Though my skin is dry and sensitive, it survived a lot throughout the years of my ignorance…

Ok, back to main story…My mom and I went to Seduisant’s in Kelana Jaya’s Giant. Ya I know that the name sounds a little…you know… Anyway, we chose this place because we got a voucher for a first time facial treatment at a promotional price while they were promoting it during one of our shopping trips in Giant (a few weeks back).

(Before treatment)
I was asked about my skincare history *refer to 1st paragraph* then I was asked to put my head behind the curtains of some machinery to see my current skin condition. This is a I don’t know what it is called machine that shows your current skin condition with all the “unseen” thingies like blackheads, oily skin area, dead skin cells and eyebags that you normally can't see under normal lighthing. I looked scary under that blue light-like a zombie-vampire creature with my layer of dead skin cells, blackheads and lovely shady eyebag under each eye -who wouldn’t?

Next, I was asked to change my clothes in one of the treatment rooms…

This is where I made a fool of myself, nobody knew til now cause I’m telling you, whoever you are…yes the one who’s reading this blog entry…I can’t believe I’m telling you this...All I know that my cousin and friend will be reading this cause I told them to do so…(opps, side tracked…back to story…)

I found my garment, what was suppose to be a satin robe blouse thing which I somehow thought it to be a skirt thing instead…T_T  Why? Cause…After I slipped it on, it fell straight to the ground because it was too loose and that’s why…Tightening it at the waist felt awkward then it hit me that its suppose to be a blouse…I’m so silly…I tried tightening it as tight as possible this time as a blouse but it slide again down to my waist and was about to slide to the ground…Frustrated, I make a knot with the robe belts behind my neck so the blouse could hang without sliding down again.

(During treatment)

While we chatted, the lady did a cleansing routine with some cucumber smelling concoction…later she applied some cream before she put some plastic food wrapper like mask for my cleansing mask, it make me feel like some plastic wrapped product. (I don’t know what she used but there was so many types of smell that I’m confused and forgotten what smelled like what). Then I was left in there for 10mins while the mask work its magic. When the lady return, she asked if I felt asleep as most of her customer fell asleep at this stage. It was relaxing with the instrumental music in background but it was difficult to sleep with my faced “wrapped” like that and I normally can’t sleep on my back like that. I actually took a few deep breaths now and then to make sure I can breathe…xD lol~

Another cleansing routine then she asked if I want to do my brows, why not? It sting a little but it was nothing compared to when she squeezed my blackheads out… o(><)o ouch~! It sting a LOT~ after each point she “attacked” my skin felt like being punctured with a hole…after that was over I felt like I became a sponge with lots of holes…O_O Next mask is where the lady applies some light cream on my face followed by a sack cloth? (what’s that thin cloth thing that people use to make a sling or wrap a wound with? The thread like one-not the plaster/band aid thing), now I feel like an Egyptian mummy…then she applied a heavier, thicker cream and switched on the biolight machine-some fan like machine with light blue light. I was forced to shut my eyes most of the time cause she put the cream over my eyelids, it was so hard trying to stay still and I was twitching and shifting most of the time…Earlier was worst cause I was covered with the blanket from my next down and the room was slightly warm, glad I managed to ask her to turn up air conditioning to be cooler.

(After treatment)

I was told to do more regular skincare routine and that my current facial product maybe too strong and make my skin drier than it is, so I should try it for another 2 weeks if things don’t change or improve then I should contact them. They later offered us a 10+2 facial treatment promotional package and after all the hustle and bustle we finally signed up for it…and I’ll be er…looking forward to the next facial trip.

So congrats if you follow from the beginning and ended up here, I’ll be ending shortly. So either you’re laughing real hard or not, I hope you enjoy reading my first actual entry instead of my random test results…Hope  I don’t actually scare those who have yet to go for their facial :P

Signing off~ cheerios!
