it is almost christmas break and there
is the white of frost all over the ground.
i was standing outside, watching the air
from my nostrils touch the cold and drift
like a smoke cloud from a cigarette.

it's funny how all writing utencils will disappear from my desk the second i need them.
making a bigger mess than i know how to deal with.
