Life, writing, stuph...
The writing started out really well this month, but it is not going so well right now. I hope to remedy that tonight. I know I can, it just seems that my motivation comes and goes. :(
I had a friend come to visit last weekend, but it ended up all awkward and he hasn't called me since he left. Although I hate to lose a long-standing friendship, I am tempted to just let it go since he was the one that made it awkward. We were cuddled together on the couch watching a movie and he kept teasing me. It was rather annoying since we had agreed nothing would happen. I just don't know what to think about the way he was acting.
My depression is making me tired all the time and I am sick of dealing with it. Part of it is my own fault because I haven't been taking my medication correctly. I shall endeavor to rectify that problem so I can see if the medicine is doing what it should be.
My parents are on the cruise in Alaska, so that is good for them. I hope they are having an absolute blast together. ^_^ They deserve to have a break. Since it is also their anniversary and all, I think it is a great thing.
When they get back, I am planning on printing out two copies of my NaNovel 2007 so Mom and I can start editing. I am thinking that going through by hand the first time around might be easiest. Then I can do the rest of the editing on the computer. I jknow there will be some re-writing to do, but I hope that I don't have to start over completely. That would be a pain, but if it needs to be done, it shall be done. I am determined to start sending that one out to agents within the next year. I am going to pull out my NaNovel from 2006 and read back through it to see what I can salvage plot-wise. Then, I think I am going to rewrite that one completely--Possibly for NaNo 2008 or Augno. I am not sure just yet.
I have entered Summerwrite wich is a fourmonth long challenge for 150k words. I know I can do it, I just really have to put my nose to the grindstone. If I make this, I will more than make my 200k goal for NaNoWriYe. ^_^
We shall see how it all goes. I also need to work on the sketches of the dogs for my Mom and Aba.
