Dresden Files: other things the road to hell is paved with

The story has 137,923 words, as I stated before, that is always a win in my books. Unfortunately, while I've watched the tv series, I never read the books, so I am woefully uninformed regarding the source material.

I find John to be incredibly charismatic and seductive. He is scary that way. I can totally see how Harry's attitude towards him change. The one quibble I have is that I found that kiss to be a little jarring. I am not sure why, but it caught me off guard and threw me a bit. Besides that, it's a fascinating story which is the first in a series, so there more to come. I am looking forward to it.
