So I recently discovered Morgan/Reid (Criminal Minds) fic. No worries I am still very much in love with Sherlock and Smallville (Clex forever!!!). Oh and new Buck/Chris (M7) fic are always a pleasure to find. I just read really fast and I need to read something while waiting for new stories/updates. Anyway Morgan/Reid....love, love, love the

I myself am still what I would consider new to the CM fandom (having just discovered it this past summer) and most specifically, Morgan/Reid... *sigh*... And I agree it is not easy to write them and not everything out there hits the nail on the head, so to speak. I've written some for this pairing, and even I feel that it takes some time to think it out and it can't be pushed.

Anyway, here are a few recs:

Hollywood Derek Morgan: This is an AU where Derek is a Hollywood Actor, Spencer a university professor, Penelope is Derek's manager, Emily is Spencer's very good friend past friend with benefits (or something) and everyone else shows up too. I REALLY liked this, and I'm not a huge fan of AUs.

poefics: just about everything by this author is fabulous... especially the first one on the page "A Well Respected Man." I've read that a couple times.

Checkmate: Another AU where Derek runs the youth center back in Chicago and Spencer kind of ends up there for some odd reason... Man do I love this one. I find it odd that I am reccing 2 AUs here when I am not a huge fan of them... but this, definitely have read this a few times too.

You can cast your cares on me when you can't rely on you: There was just something special this one that captured my heart. I also like a lot of what this author writes.
